Never thought to plan for someone's birthday is kinda of difficult especially for your loved ones,which i had try sourcing 1mth plus in advance,Sigh..(No wonder people tends to said Love Is Noble)...Need to find a nice and romantic place which i hope i can give him a memorable birthday,next is the gift,kind of brain cracking too.Actually this is the first time i plan birthday celebration for a guy so me feel so shy and worried that it might freak him out as man r always man(VERY EGOlistic).
Well,at last i had found a place which might suits for the celebration..Is at
---->My Secrets Garden located @MIddle Road.As i never been there before just get some reviews from the net(some good n bad comments)kinda of worried but i got to trust my own eyes so i decided to check it out on my own before i commit into it.But before that i got to print out the map first as i am a street directory idiot,went there the very day and i am quite pleased with the environment and luckily the manager is tactful enough to ans all my doubts and meets my requirement.
First Surprise
4 Course meal -
Soup Of The Day - Lobster Bisque
Main Course - Tenderloin & Cod Fish
Appetizers - Mushroom & Chicken Salad
Red & White Wine
Deserts - A heart Shaped Brownie with a scoop of ice-cream
(Which i use this to surprise him)
On that day i mention to him that is just a dinner so he got no doubts what's behind it..Once step into the restaurant and get our butt down on the chair,being serve by the Duty Manager.And my heart start beating as I'm so worried that the food might not suit him as he is quite picky,but lucky enough he look kinda satisfied when he tasted the soup(No complains),next the appetizer follow by the main course together with red & white wine(Throughout the meals,no complains---Phew,I feel much at ease)The most interesting part ----> Lights being dimmed,romantic soft music being played thats when they are preparing for the brownie with candle to be serve. To his surprise,when he turn over his head and he saw the Manager standing beside him and placed the heart shaped brownie right infront of him and wished him Happy Birthday,His face was like Shock,happy and speechless.....And me feeling satisfied with my plans that sail smoothly.
Second Surprise
Went to Mount Faber after dinner,love that place as it make me feel relax and he is the first man who brought me there..Hee.. Once found a suitable spot,i get him to unwrap the presents. Given him 2 gifts - A Seiko Watch & A Hand Made Card(Which took me 1week plus to complete it,slept @3am to rush)Is really not easy to self made a card as i need inspiration coz is my first time n i am lousy in handicraft..Will upload the pics for the pressie soon..
